Talk of the last few days has been of the goings-on over at now AOL-owned megablog, TechCrunch. For years one of, if not THE most widely read blogs, and a staple for anyone in the web, media or startup scenes, this week looked like it might be in trouble. News overnight reports that Mike Arrington the founder has now been let go. Here is a summary of the story.
I'm hoping that the changes afoot at TechCrunch make the scene stronger. If Mike Arrington does leave, I hope he goes on to do more amazing stuff and that TechCrunch continues to prosper here in Europe and globally.
