There are some blogs I read religiously that fit into no particular bracket. I read a lot of PR people's blogs and a lot of tech blogs, which you'll see ranked in all the lists that float about out there. But were I to recommend three blogs to anyone in either media, PR, marketing or tech, the three would be:
- Confused of Calcutta - "A blog about innovation" - by JP Rangaswami
- Gaping Void - "Cartoons drawn on the back of business cards" - by Hugh McLeod
- Micropersuasion - "Steve Rubel explores how emerging technologies are revolutionizing marketing communications" - by Steve Rubel
I've read these blogs for years, have had the pleasure of briefly meeting their authors (Steve only on the phone) and I think nearly every post that is published on these blogs is a riveting read, as they say. Professionally, of course.
Interested to hear what stuff you'd recommend I subscribe to - blog, Twitter, FriendFeed, whatever.
http://thisisindexed.com/ has been a favourite of mine for a bit. Nothing to do with PR, though a very interesting take on life

There's a guy called Drew Benvie, a tech PR pro based out of London who writes a cool blog. Now and again he blogs about if certain A-list bloggers were cats.
Cracking read and highly recommended.

Not so much a blog and even less than anything having to do with PR, I like exploring Architecture in Helsinki's site http://thatbeep.com/
They're always changing it and it's just got a quirky vibe to it.

Drew, honoured. Thanks. And there are a bunch of other sites for me to visit as well. Great. Thanks again
