Yesterday we ran one of Hotwire's PR and social media workshops for some of our clients. I found it particularly fun as, in addition to equipping a room of PR managers with some tips and tricks on how to do better PR in this digital age we live in, I got to sneak in two of my favourite sites:
- The website Passive Aggressive Notes, as an example of how you don't need text to make an engaging blog post (kinda)
- Post Secret, in the same vein, and also as an example of an idea that began offline then became the biggest blog on the net for a long time
A few people in the room hadn't seen these sites before so I thought I'd share.
And for what it's worth, this is my favourite Passive Aggressive Note from the site - which uses the 'O RLY?' thing to great effect :)
O RLY?

Thanks Drew. In the same vein, you're probably also aware of Found magazine, where people contribute notes, letters, cards, drawings etc they just find lying around. They make for some fascinating reading!
