Hi Drew,

Im quite interested in the Twitter phenomenon you mentioned. Im not very familiar with this but i was just curious about the whole implication of this Tech on PR and what the real result or diffences would it make. Getting people involved in, in terms of checking 'what they're doing' in relation to PR? Maybe in terms of instant promotional material for marketing oriented pr campaigns , but for long term though what is the benefit for an organisation's publics? i would like to learn and know more!

Hey, Drew!

Thanks for the add to a great conversation about Twitter.

In fact, streams are complimentary.

For bloggers of "Links of the day" bore, I have dragged it over to the right hand sidebar with Blinklist badge. I call that micro-blogging.

For the twitter stream, I call that Nano-blogging.

And when stuff merge and emerge into something digestible and researched, then it is time to blog! Like the above post you did. Right?

Instant stuff through Twitter, Some more discoveries and stuff through Blinklist and then the main blog stream at the same page! How is that for a mashup of tools now ready?

And, btw, check Twitterbar to instantly twit through the URL field or instant linkshare, together with TwitThis bookmarklet using "Looking at: Listening to: etc etc"! Brilliant combos of features making it almost-zero-percent friction to use (and beware of abuse...) - check the wiki on Social Media Club on the howto/not-to uses of Twitter. Great bullets worth digesting.
