It was back in 2007 that, when running the digital division of Hotwire in the UK, I started planning the launch of 33 Digital. Now we have achieved so much in such a short time. Awards and rankings under our belt, including this year the 2011 New Media Age Reputation Online top 10 most respected agencies, finalist in the 2010 PR Week new agency awards, and a Reputation Online gong for our work with the Financial Times.
I have also had the privilege to work across Hotwire Group, building the digital portfolio of the wider agency teams of Hotwire, Skywrite and 33 Digital. Hotwire Group has been ranked #3 digital agency by fee income by PR Week and 4# by Reputation Online this year, and we've entered Marketing Week's top 40 across above and below the line digital agency rankings in 2011 too.
So it is an exciting time for me to be taking on a new challenge.
I'm excited to say that I am now taking on a new role as UK MD of Hotwire Group, leading the Group’s UK operation, encompassing Hotwire, Skywrite and 33 Digital, working with the existing MDs and directors of these teams and working into my colleague of 6 years and CEO of the company Brendon Craigie. And most exciting for me, helping to realise our vision of digital and social media integrated completely through the PR service offering of our agency. A big focus for me will be on driving digital strategy across all of our businesses, helping to realise the company’s vision to integrate digital and social media throughout its PR service offering.
You will still find me on the same contact details, across Twitter, my blog and in our London base in Clerkenwell. But from now on look out for me making trouble not only at 33 Digital but at Skywrite and Hotwire towers too. We have a first class team which I'm looking forward to working with more closely. Here's to the next four years.
