Rubel can be a bit excitable, but there are good reasons for Google's ever increasing fanbase - apart form the obvious cost comparison, one of the most enjoyable aspects of docs is that the bits from MS Office that most people use are included, and the 80% that no one understands has been dumped... It took me a while to get over losing my mail folders - but evetually it became obvious that the 'labels' function in gmail is far more efficient. there's a load of other stuff and a whole list of things that could improve in future versions, but the Blue Monster should be worried. As for the PR launch - would you bet against Edelman looking after it?

Yahoo! Mail currently sports the most attractive UI at the moment! That said, I'm really intrigued by what Google's UI team may have in mind!
