Was webcameron too much effort, or did his advisors just want him to do it properly and get more readers? Whatever the reason, our opposition part leader David Cameron has started a new blog. Justin and Simon have the scoop. Nice one Mr Cameron.
David says:
Welcome to my new written blog. As well as the (fairly) regular webcameron video blogs, I am going to tap out a (hopefully more) regular written regular blog with some thoughts on what I am up to.
The aim is to be brief and never boring. But if it becomes both long and dull it will only ever be my fault!

Having myself started with a video format only, I suspect that he found it limiting after a while like i did. There are times when the written form is better and times when the combination is better. Probably a good move don't you think?

Who had the scoop, Drew? ; )

David - totally agree. Video's good, but text I can read on the move more easily.
Simon - ok ok, you broke it :-) but I saw Justin's coverage first.

Yes Simon had the scoop not me...
We shall see how Mr. Cameron gets on with it. Seems to be updating regularly which is good but failing to engage in any form of conversation i.e. responding to comments. It has great potential but not being used to its fullest - all a bit 'one-way' at present...
