NEWCASTLE IS A NICER PLACE. I KNOW SOMEONE THAT MOVED THERE YEARS AGO AND SAID BARROW WAS A TERRIBLE PLACE.

Leicester is a bit of a s***hole as well.

Explain this to me: shop window smashed, manager going nuts with shoplifters and he's the guy that gets schlepped of by management who say they're made 'welcome?'

Are they trying to take the p**s? Oh - I forgot, you can't take the p**s out of a sh**hole.

Thorntons look dopy don't you think? And isn't it a sign of reactionary command and congtrol crap that someone in management can't see fit to support the employee concerned?

Well, I tried living there recently and I have to agree with Steve that it is the most rotten dump I have ever come across in my life -no jobs, all the shops are boarded up, a terrible drug and alcohol problem there, nothing to do day or night and everyone is really miserable - I couldn't wait to leave!! And I don't blame him for making the comments - remember, he said what he said after his shop window was smashed, not before!
