Tech mag MIS might be acquired by IDG, according to Peter Kirwan at tech PR info site FullRun. According to a statement sent to me tonight, IDG, which owns mags like PC Advisor and Macworld, might buy MIS off Fairfax pretty soon. The statement reads:
A source familiar with the negotiations said: "It's not yet a done deal. But it's progressing, the negotiations are in place and have been for some time."
So nothing conclusive, but enough for FullRun to send out a press release to the blogosphere. Make your own minds up I suppose. If the editors or media owners are reading, you're of course welcome to shed some light.
