I agree with what Mike Buckley said. I think it's sweet. Admittedly I might be a bit put off after receiving it from someone that I'd met once, but still ... good luck in your search for love, Joe! Somewhere out there is a woman who will appreciate such poetry.

I really don't see why everyone is making such a big deal about it. I read the email, expecting something shocking, but all I found was the honest opinion of a sensitive man. The first thing I thought after reading it was, "that was all? thats what everybody is freaking out about?" Well, whoever the evil woman was that started this whole ordeal, I'm sure she is oh so pleased with herself with making herself an instant celebrity and humiliating Mr. Dobbie. If I was her, I would be ashamed of myself.

Geez, I dont see what is so bad about that. He seems sweet and genuine enough. If anything he comes across as a simple, nice guy. I think the woman who forwarded this should be the one feeling like an ass.

yeh im joe i write stupid crap to chicks that i dont even know, im so stupid that i dont even realise the freaken wuss im being writing crap like that, oh yeh real smooth joe chicks just love wusses loser

If I got an email like that - even if it was from somebody I'd met only once - I'd be touched and flattered. I CERTAINLY would not send it on to others - Joe, she doesn't deserve you, and you will one day find somebody who does. Don't give up.
