After having read his tips on Google's new products and other online stuff on UK Press, I have just started reading Shakil Khan's blog, which charts his progress as a man on the ground on behalf of a number of Western companies looking for joint business opportunities and investments in China". Well worth a read. As is this article on the rise of India and China in BusinessWeek, that he has pointed me to.

Less tech content in the Guardian spells tougher times getting client coverage

Whilst it looks great, I have mixed feelings about The Guardian's new Thursday tech supplement. It used to be part of the Life supplement, and called Online, then another bit of it was called Inside IT. Now it's simply called Guardian Technology (here's a PDF of today's supplement). While the reporting is still very readable, the content seems a little thinner on the ground. More NIBs would be nice, and maybe more of it too?! But it's good that the tech section is a stand-alone pull out!

There is less tech content, so it's going to be harder to get clients covered in The Guardian now!

Nice little iPod nano

PR bonanza from Apple. From what I've been reading online about the new Apple stuff that's being announced, the one thing I like is the new iPod nano. Hmm need one of those. Don't like the iPhone though.
