Silicon highlands

Interesting story in the FT - the development agency Scottish Enterprise is contracting out an EU-backed project to build an advanced telecoms and broadband infrastructure across 13 national sites.

It's called the Atlas project, and its supposed to attract tech companies from gaming, software, digital and life science sectors. It's meant to start going live at the end of 2005. Lets see what it does to the industry up there
