We brits love talking about the weather, the foreigners keep telling us. No wonder then, that a new weather blog, launched by Mink Media and edited by Giles Turnbull is getting such publicity. The blog is called Rising Slowly, and is the big sister to the as yet unborn UK media blog Grokspin.
Elsewhere, Morgan McLintic at Lewis and Andrew Smith at Object Marketing have both pointed me towards this new tool - it turns breaking headlines from Google News into RSS feeds.Your RSS reader (feedster, bloglines etc) can send you the top headlines on your chosen searches. I personally already have a bunch of Google News Alerts set up on client key words, but they aren't real time, so I'll be using this new RSS engine.
