I heard a teaser on Colin Murray's afternoon show on Radio 1 today, saying that he was going to be broadcasting a technology segment. I hadn't heard Colin do anything like that before - so wondered what would be coming up. He did a piece on 'robots' and gizmos like Data off The Goonies (!?) and his gnashing teeth and slick shoes. Great stuff.

I heard the trailer and assumed it was going to be Colin rabbiting on about games ( as he always does..) but am now kicking myself I missed The Goonies bit...especially having dedicated Saturday early evening to re-watching it to figure out where all the cut scenes were dropped...still the greatest eighties growing up flick ever.

You can say that again! The amount of time spent trying to make booby traps in the garden doesn't bear to think about.
